Constant current power supply

Most pressure sensors now use silicon piezoresistive conversion chips. This conversion chip is a full-bridge circuit that is spread over the silicon material and needs to be powered (driven) for this full-bridge circuit.
There are two ways to supply power: one is powered by a DC constant voltage source; the other is powered by a DC constant current source.
Both power supply methods have their own advantages and disadvantages, and are used by design engineers.

The figure below shows a silicon piezoresistive pressure sensor powered by a constant current source. There are two output signals, the output voltage U at both ends of the bridges B and D is the output signal when the input pressure P; the output signal when the output voltage Ut at both ends A and C is the ambient temperature t is a function of the ambient temperature, two The output signals have cross sensitivity to each other. Try to fuse the two output information to improve the measurement accuracy of the pressure and reduce the mutual cross sensitivity.

Piezoelectric sensors are versatile tools for the measurement of various processes. They are used for quality assurance, process control, and for research and development in many industries.
